fill a bowl or your sink with hot, almost boiling, steaming water. Then get a big towel and wrap it round so that its sort of life a tent over the water with your head inside so no steam can escape. Hold your head about 20 cms above the water, and wait for about 2 minutes. it's best to add a drop of tea tree oil, if you have it. once 2 minutes is up, get a good facial exfoliator, or (and this works really well) get your regular face wash and add a teaspoon of sugar - cheap and effective - and give your skin a firm but gentle scrub in circular motions. rinse off (remember that the water in the sink will be still hot so drain some and add cold water to make it a nice warm temperature. once its rinsed off, splash with cold water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Soak a face cloth in hot water and then wring it dry and lay it on your face for 5 minutes or so and then cleanse as normal
