How do you remove blackheads or at least clean them?

i have a lot in my nose and some in my chin. i really hate them. the have been bothering me ever since i knew about them. i try the striper pores and st.Ives cleansing blackhead remover. my sister said the the stripers pores work the best is the true? and how should i remove them please?How do you remove blackheads or at least clean them?
