How do I get rid of blackheads?

I have blackheads on my nose, and I've tried everything! Every night I wash with a face scrub, and I've even tried products like Clean %26amp; Clear blackhead remover, but they won't budge, and seem to be a problem that is always there! How do I get rid of blackheads?
If you don't want to pay for an esthetician, you can perform your own extraction at home. First take a steamy shower/bath, then wet a wash cloth with hot (not scalding) water. Apply the cloth to the affected area and continue to re-wet it to keep the heat. After 5 minutes or so, your pores should be opened up and you can gently squeeze your blackheads out using your fingers wrapped in the wash cloth. Try not to touch your pores with your bare fingers, as they are always covered in bacteria. Afterward, splash your face with some ice water to close your pores back up.

You can also use pore strips for blackheads on your nose. The Biore ones work really well. How do I get rid of blackheads?
It's probably your age that makes them worse. You need to get into a routine of thoroughly cleansing your face every day and make sure that you get rid of every trace of make-up. Don't use soap on your face as it makes things worse, use a deep cleanser followed by a good toner. You have what is called T shape area on your face (nose and forehead) that is greasy. You need an astringent (toner) especially for greasy skin but use it only on the nose and forehead as the rest of your face is probably a little dry, you use a mild toner for these parts. You can also try a face pack for combination skin on say a weekly basis. Don't scrub at your face so much as you will damage the tender areas of your face. When you have cleansed your face you need to nourish it. A moisturiser does not need to be expensive to be effective, use it morning before make-up and bedtime after cleansing. Instead of washing in the morning just wipe your face over with toner then moisturise and finally apply your make-up. Make sure that the makeup is suitable for combination skin as the wrong stuff will cause all sorts of problems. The way you treat your skin while you are young is very evident later in life so spend a bit of time on it everyday to keep you looking good in later life.
Try an Easy Phyic skin peel. Only a light application so no visible peeling or down time but it will give your skin a lovely healthy glow. Works by removing dead skin cells, clearing pores and reducing their size. Has to be done by a medical professional but is well worth it!! (approx cost of treatment 拢60-80)

If you can go to an esthetician. They can extract the black heads but it can take a little while to get them all because they can only do so much at one time so they do not hurt the skin.
