The active ingredient in Proactive is Benzoyle Peroxide, which is an antibacterial agent that kills acne vulgaris, the bacteria responsible for acne....So it doesn't unclog pores like retinols or accutane do, but simply kills the bacteria, preventing inflammation of clogged pores.Does anyone know why Proactive does not get rid of blackheads?
well you have to put a towell in the blackhead because it is dirty and couse it like block so you have to put a hot towell i your face if iit is in your face and then tell someone like your mom to how will i say pop them out that the way
Pro-Activ worked great for me, so I'm thinking that maybe it doesn't work the same for everyone to do everyone's different chemical makeup.
there really isn't, but maybe its because of the ingredients its different to treat acne from blackheads
Maybe because you need a product with more exfoliation factor in it? Try using a mask for your blackheads! That usually works.
Well i don't know why...but when i used it, it did NOTHING, so right now i just use a mixture of things and it's working!!!=]
Proactiv didn't work for me.. try an exfoliator/scrub a few times a week, like a blackhead scrub. I believe Clearasil makes a few different types of scrubs specifically for blackhead treatments
I don't know, but you should try the Biore blackhead strips. They work very good. But it hurts when you pull them off :(
