What is the best and most cost-effective way to remove (or drastically reduce the appearance of) blackheads?

Most especially on the T-zone area of nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead. What is the best and most cost-effective way to remove (or drastically reduce the appearance of) blackheads?
you need to get professional facials. i've done facials on people (men, women, and young females) with blackheads and they (the blackheads) come out of the pores like little (o.k. large) black hairs. no need to squeeze them out.

it's really cool, but really gross. i love doing those facials!

when you are getting facial ask the esthetician what you can do to keep your skin in optimal condition. get the products she recommends and take her suggestions on how to take care of your skin. you might need a lifestyle change. What is the best and most cost-effective way to remove (or drastically reduce the appearance of) blackheads?
I totally agree, I do facials myself! Most of the people i do are teens. Report Abuse

I use my own mxture of citrus oil and moisturizer and put it on my blackheads once a week for 5 minutes then rinse, works like a charm!

There are blackhead poppers that look sort like tweezers in the makeup section of most pharmacies. Just clean your face twice a day in the morning and at night. Try a daily exfoliator. You may not elimiate them completely, but it will drastically reduce them. Oh, and don't put your hands on your face either. And make sure you have a clean pillow case.
First:do NOT squeez them, it will make your pore bigger and thus bigger blackheads. Also, those 'paper strips' that you stick to the nose when wet, and peel off when dry, they will enlarge your pore too. When you pore is biggger, it's no way to make it smaller again. (my painful experiences)

Weekly: do a scrub for your face, then a deep clean mask, finally your moisturize

Daily: wash your face day and night, then apply moisturizer

Everytime you finish washing your face, splash cold water to make the pore smaller.

Drink lots of water

Use oil absorbing paper during the day (I suggest CleaX and CleaX oil absorbing paper)
