What's the best way of getting rid of blackheads quickly ?

I have proactive , but thats not working for me.


I need some help getting rid of my black heads.


There's about 8 of them above my lip. And they're annoying .


I just got rubbing alcohol, will that help at all?

rubbing alcohol will only irritate your skin. You can get some of those biore strips that pull the crap out of your pores (they are called blackhead removing strips or something), but it's likely that they will just come back. General acne treatment and anything that reduces oil will help to keep them away for good. Blackheads? If they are blackheads, try the pore strips sold in the HBA section at Wal-mart, Target, or any other store of that type. They don't cost a fortune and make a quick fix.





If they are pimples--this will sound really strange--try just a dot of toothpaste (not gel) on it/them before bedtime, but be sure NOT to get it on your jammies, pillowcases, anything that will bleach out.





Alcohol will dry your skin terribly (read: flaky), but witch hazel is a mild astringent if you feel you need one.
