What do they do during a facial at a spa to remove blackheads?

I have a lot of blackheads, some aer geting quite big and leaving scars. I want to get rid of them so my face stops breaking out. I used glycolic acid and a cream with retinol in it previously which helped to make the pores smaller, but without removing the debris I guess it will never clear. I was also told I need glycolic peels.. would that virtually do thae same thing that a facial at the spa would do?What do they do during a facial at a spa to remove blackheads?
Unfortuately, glycolic acid and retinol have absolutely no effect on blackheads. To penetrate the oil in a pore, you must use a product with salicylic acid (also called BHA). It is the only way to break up oil inside a pore. Use a gentle cleanser and apply the lotion. If you are patient and disciplined, you will see a real difference within a week and it will just keep getting better. For breakouts, a 5% benzoyl peroxide lotion will dry them effectively. Good luck! What do they do during a facial at a spa to remove blackheads?
they legit extract them w/ like a hook or pin or something.
they use the method extraction used half way through a facial but you can do it yourself and save money. cleanse your skin twice using the right cleanser for your skin type, tone, exfoilate..and if you have a facial steamer use for 5-10mins as it will open the pores and make the blackhead easier do. with tissue wrapped round your 2 index fingers place either side of the blackhead and just move up and down the blackhead will come out in no time.

hope it helps
It's called extractons. They use a tool and a light to see where they are. I promise it doesn't hurt bc your skin has something on it, like liquid wise. It just kinda pokes you. It feals weird. I just got this done a couple weeks ago. :)
